PROSJEKT THREADLE OG INININ

Luke har blitt noe usikker på forskjell mellom ut og threadle pga at eg ikke har vært nøye nok med å se om det er en threadle eller en ut. Dette kommer jo ofte på om hvor han kommer fra forrige hinder. Kommer han ut fra en tunell så er det jo lettere å planlegge om det er threadle eller ut enn det er om han kommer fra ett hopphinder. Da har det ofte med om han har tatt en taight turn eller en svak sving osv osv.

Threadle mellom 1 og 2

Luke har nå blitt trent endel på vanlig threadle, men i tillegg så har me startet å trene ininin. Vanligvis kalt flikk i Norge. Dette er en wrap etter en threadle. Altså han skal komme bort fra den linjen han er på og wrappe hinderet.

Dette er veldig viktig for oss siden eg ikke er den raskeste handleren.

I Agility Nation FW 8, section Come vs inin er grunntreningen for dette. Startet hjemme med 2 cones.

COMFORT ZONE

Exercise 1A

Dog’s path is the white numbers, with the hander running to Green 1 to touch it before the dog catches up. When the handler is running to Green 2, 3 and 4 to touch them before the dog reaches the handler’s side, have the dog on a different side for each run (alternate left and right hand sides for each run through).

Exercise 1B

Exercise 2A

Run to Green 1 – handle jumps 3 and 4 on your right side.

Run to Green 2 – handle jump 4 on your left side with a front cross between 3 and 4.

Run to Green 3 – handle once of the left and the next on your right with your dog jumping long on 4.

Run to Green 4 – wrap around 4 and handle once of the left and the next on your right.

Run to Green 1 – Send your dog to the back of 5, handle with dog on left or right side.

Run to Green 2(a) – Send your dog to wrap 5, handle with dog on left or right side.

Run to Green 2(b) – Send your dog away from you to the back of 5.

Run to Green 3 – Wrap your dog at 5 and take him left/right.

Run to Green 4 – Handle on the left or right.

Run to Green 5 – Handle on the left or right.

Exercise 4

Run to Green 1 – Front Cross between 4 and 5

Run to Green 2 – Dog on your left hand side.

Exercise 5A

Run to Green 1 – Dog on right for 2 / 3 / 4

Run to Green 2(a) – Front Cross between 2 / 3

Run to Green 2(b) – Front Cross between 3 /4

Exercise 5B

Run to Green 1 – Front Cross between 2 / 3. Ask for collection on 3 and RUN to Green 1. You also can make a side change behind the dog between 2 and 3 but then it is not our exercise and almost impossible to be on time to get to Green 1 to touch it before the dog reaches you.

Run to Green 2 – Make a side change between 2 / 3 AND between 3 / 4.

Combine 5A and 5B.

Exercise 6A

Run to Green 1 – Dog on left when you send him behind 3.

Run to Green 2 – Dog on right when you send him behind 3, and right when he jumps 4 as you run to Green 2.

Exercise 6B

Run to Green 1 – Dog on left for 4/5.

Run to Green 2 – Side change between 4/5 so the dog is on your right side when he jumps over 4 and 5.

Combine 6A and 6B.

Exercise 7

Run to Green 1 – Side change between 7 / 8 so your dog is on your left side when he jumps over 8. Run again with your dog on the right for 8 … watch out that he does not jump into your legs and you are running for Green 1!

Run to Green 2 – Have your dog on the right when he jumps over 8 and again on the left.

FOCUS FORWARD

I dag var Heidi jobbevillig som vanlig. Me var på trening lenge, hadde pauser og en liten tur mitt i. Startet med en vippe bare for å se henne når hun har høyt energi nivå, om hun da kommer lenger frem. Dette skal eg prøve å logge fremover.

Etter på jobbet me litt med foottarget. Har laget et nytt brett. Delte klikkerbrettet i to og surret det med rosa sportstape. Hun skjønner godt hva som skal skje og har bra fokus. Fikk det dessverre ikke med på film.

Det som er på denne filmen er threadle, ut ut serp og fokus frem.
